Bill Clinton claims that he had nothing to do with mortgage meltdown. I love this AP photo of him denying any responsibility for greenlining. Doesn’t that pose look familiar?  Link to current AP story here.

Fannie Mae, the nation’s biggest underwriter of home mortgages, has been under increasing pressure from the Clinton Administration to expand mortgage loans among low and moderate income people and felt pressure from stock holders to maintain its phenomenal growth in profits

Now back to the current photo of Clinton denying a role in this mortgage meltdown.  Let’s compare his current denial of  any wrong doing with his press conference regarding Monica Lewinsky.
