Well, Ron Paul has a new campaign ad championing himself along side Ronald Reagan before the GOP debate at the Reagan Library. The liar that he is.
Let me highly recommend this months National Review cover story by Kevin Williamson on Ron Paul. The whole thing is a must read but he quotes Ron Paul from the 1980’s on Ronald Reagan. here is the excerpt:
“I want to totally disassociate myself from the policies that have given us unprecedented deficits, massive monetary inflation, indiscriminate military spending, an irrational and unconstitutional foreign policy, zooming foreign aid, the exaltation of international banking, and the attack on our personal liberties and privacy,” he wrote in a letter offering advice to the Republican party: not a letter about the Obama administration — a letter about the Reagan administration.

Now, this is just the tip of the iceberg so let me again direct you to Ron Paul central: LewRockwell.com where you can learn much of how evil the United States is, how horrible Ronald Reagan was and how Ron Paul is the “Greatest Congressman in history”.
Ron Paul’s intellectual idol, the man he eulogized at his funeral, was Murray Rothbard. Rothbard was not a Conservative, he rejected Lockean “Social Contract” theory among other things with Classical Liberalism and decided, like Ron Paul stated yesterday at Demint’s debate, that “All Government is Evil”, and under this view he adopted Anarchism and tied it to raw free market capitalism: Anarcho-Capitalism is the term developed and what LewRockwell.com is all about.
So what did the intellectual hero of Paul and Lew Rockwell have to say about Ronald Reagan. Here is a story from 1983 proudly hosted at LewRockwell.com, there are many more like it but you get the point and will see how Ron Paul and company have, like all Anarchist, always been tied at the hip with the Far-Left on Foreign Policy worldview:

Will anyone at the Reagan Library Debate expose Ron Paul for who he really is? Or will they continue to let Ron Paul, claim for political reasons the mantle of Ronald Reagan and further brainwash his Cult? Losing an entire generation of would be young conservatives to the rank lies and distortions of Ron Paul’s war on Conservatism and America, doing so in the name of Ronald Reagan!
