Problems with oversea aid during a catastrophe

Conventional wisdom has been for Washington to throw money at every country that has a major natural disaster, but I think it is wrong to use our tax dollars to help these hurt nations without the consent of the people.  I do love seeing men and women all over the world blessing us for our love and charity when a disaster strikes.  The visuals of the Tsunami aid to 10’s of thousands Indonesians are still fresh in many of our memories.  We take action better than any other nation when a catastrophe strikes.  We are seen a nation of compassion and good will.  Our example has been one of great significance when it comes to foreign aid.  Our Military takes intuitive.  However, how long can we aid nations when we are so far in debt?

Now there is a major earthquake in Haitai.  America prays for the survivors of this devestating earthquake. I know millions will be giving all they got to help the great devestation in Haiti.  I will be sending some money online.

But there are two main reasons why I am against hurriedly giving millions of tax payer dollars to Haiti.

  1. Tax payers should give consent before our government gives our money away.  Charity is always a choice.  I think those who fill out tax forms should wave their tax dollars for oversea and foreign disasters during Tax preparation.  Almost, like a yearly donation….rather than the in debt federal government give however much money they want.
  2. Anyone who believes in the bible knows there will be so much more destruction to come in the end of days.  America will not be able to afford to clean up God’s wrath!

Revelation 67When the Lamb opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature say, “Come!” 8I looked, and there before me was a pale horse! Its rider was named Death, and Hades was following close behind him. They were given power over a fourth of the earth to kill by sword, famine and plague, and by the wild beasts of the earth…….12I watched as he opened the sixth seal. There was a great earthquake. The sun turned black like sackcloth made of goat hair, the whole moon turned blood red, 13and the stars in the sky fell to earth, as late figs drop from a fig tree when shaken by a strong wind. 14The sky receded like a scroll, rolling up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place.
