About Those polls and 2018 Bloodbath

The DNC is reporting it’s worth fund raising month in 8 years while the RNC is chugging along.

The Democratic National Committee reported its worst April of fundraising since 2009, according to Federal Election Commission records released Monday.

The DNC reported taking in $4.7 million last month. While this is an off-year for fundraising, the DNC hauled $8.5 million last year, and nearly $5 million in 2015. Between 2010 and 2014, the Democrats received anywhere from $6.3 million to $14.4 million per year.

During the same period the RNC took in $9.6 million and currently holds $41 million in cash.

Republicans are currently in the position of being able to do more with less, the President’s campaign cost 250 million compared to Hillary’s 1.2 billion. Now, when push comes to shove the rank and file of the party are looking towards achieving long held goals and are willing to put their money where their mouths are.  This is something to keep in mind when the next round of polls that are meant to shape opinion not report it come out.
