If you ever wondered why the Democrats fight so hard against Voter ID, this might be your answer.

Patriot Majority For America Raided By Indiana State Police

Indiana State Police investigators on Tuesday searched a voter registration agency on Indianapolis’ north side as they look into a voter fraud case that spans nine counties.

The investigation began in late August when police learned of the filing of fraudulent voter registration forms in Marion and Hendricks counties.

The investigation has expanded from Marion and Hendricks counties to include Allen, Delaware, Hamilton, Hancock, Johnson, Lake and Madison counties, according to a statement from State Police.

Currently the number of registrations in question is up to 45,000 and covers nine counties in Indiana.  According to Ballotpedia Patriot Majority For America Was Founded By Craig Varoga.

In 2005, Varoga founded a network of organizations called the Patriot Majority. According to Politico, “Patriot Majority is comprised of a 501(c)(4) nonprofit organization that can, among other things, devote a minority of its resources to running independent ads in elections without disclosing its donors, a so-called 527 organization that does not disclose its activities to the Federal Election Commission and more recently a super PAC that can accept unlimited donations from corporations and unions.

Varoga, has previously worked for Bill Clinton’s re-election campaign as a director of state research and Al Gore and Wesley Clark’s respective presidential campaigns, and also Harry Reid’s 2010 campaign. His organiztion according to Fox59 had been submitting voter registrations with, incorrect names, with incorrect addresses, incorrect addresses,  incorrect date of birth, that would disqualify the registrations.

Varoga made this comment to Raw Story

After all is said and done, when this partisan investigation finds no wrongdoing by the organization, Connie Lawson and the Indiana State Police will have prevented 45,000 African Americans from voting in this year’s elections. That is why today we reported their outrageous actions to the Department of Justice

The sad thing here, is if this actually is a legitimate drive to register voters, Photo ID would have let the canvassers register them correctly, and even if they weren’t they could still cast provisional ballots.
