I testified against Eric (the Red) Holder at his Senate confirmation hearings in January 2009 and followed up here on Redstate in February (please see below). Regrettably I was prophetic in my warnings. He advocates terrorists. He is a left wing ideologue. He is a stooge to his boss. He is essentially an incompetent stooge. The neo three stooges of Obama, Pelosi and Holder would make quite a comedy team if they weren’t so dangerous.

Sadly, it didn’t take Nostradamus to predict this treacherous circus we now have in power; all Americans would have seen it coming if we were only paying attention.

Its time to go Mr. Holder and take Moe and Larry with you.

Attorney General Eric Holder wants Gitmo closed, civilian trials for enemy terrorists and most recently admitted he made the downright treacherous decision to bestow the same rights to the Detroit bomber as those of a US citizen.

Eric Holder is reckless. Eric Holder is dangerous. Once again Eric Holder is playing Russian Roulette with the lives of the American people whose rights and safety he is sworn to protect.

Inexplicably, disingenuously it seems to be something of a shock to many pundits and politicians (democrats and republicans) that Holder would behave this way.

Spare me. Either wake up or tell the truth. Anyone paying attention has known for years that Holder sides with terrorists.

I, just the average Joe Citizen, passionately pleaded against Holder on the deaf ears of the Senate Judiciary Committee at Holder’s January, 2009 confirmation hearings in DC. In 1999 then Deputy AG Holder brain stormed, pushed, championed, drove the Clinton clemencies of the 16 unrepentant FALN terrorists. These thugs proudly claimed responsibility for over 130 bombing including the murder of my father, Frank Connor in the horrific January 24, 1975 lunchtime bombing of downtown Manhattan’s Fraunces Tavern.

As I explained before the Judiciary Committee last year, Holder and his bosses the Clintons, played Russian Roulette with our lives by releasing these hardened murderers back on the streets. As my family warned in 1999, their release would encourage other terrorists. Indeed we may well have felt the result of that encouragement as my cousin, and father’s God son Steve Schlag was killed with 3,000 other innocent souls at the WTC on 9/11/01. My brother and I witnessed the attacks from our respective offices only blocks from the Trade Center just one day shy of the two year anniversary of the FALN release. Fortunately for us and our children we left the Trade Center on our morning commute about 15 minutes before the planes hit.

Pathetically all the democrat senators voted to confirm Holder and even more pathetically only 20 of the 40 republican senators voted against his confirmation. In retrospect, lead republican on the committee Arlen Specter’s vote for Holder came as no great surprise but senators like Jeff Session’s vote for Holder still stings of betrayal.

The feeling from DC republicans in January 2009 was, “we have to choose our fights.” My God, what better fight to pick than fighting for the safety of the American people?

With a few wins under their belts, the reenergized republicans and those democrats with a conscience who actually work for the benefit of the people they represent, must now choose this fight and demand Holder’s removal.

Our nation’s security is far too important for Holder’s inexplicable game of Russian Roulette.
