“Fascism should more appropriately be called Corporatism because it is a merger of state and corporate power.” ~ Mussolini
“The keystone of the Fascist doctrine is its conception of the State, of its essence, its functions, and its aims. For Fascism the State is absolute, individuals and groups relative.” ~ Mussolini
Some have rightly called Obama a Fascist, citing the shining example of Mussolini. But there is a difference between Obama’s fascism and Mussolini’s:
“The task of Fascism was to weld the nation into an organic whole that would work for the greatness of Italy.” Martin Gilbert A History Of the Twentieth Century.
If Gilbert is right, it would seem that Mussolini, in his own evil, twisted way felt some sense of national pride. Obama can’t boast that. Obama’s fascism is born out of pure hatred for this country. Period.
I’m not sure what is worse: A fascist dictator who loves his country, or one who hates his country. I guess we will soon find out.
