Minimum Wage, Immigration and the Price of Labor

Minimum Wage, Immigration and the Price of Labor

Liberals show their “compassion” by wanting the government to force other people to pay more of the other people’s money to low wage workers.

Leaving aside the loss of jobs for low skill workers, I have some questions:

Do the laws of supply and demand apply to the labor market?

Do you think 35 million legal and illegal immigrants in the last 20 years might have an effect on the wages of American workers, of all races and ethnicities?

Why do the same people pushing a higher minimum wage also support amnesty and open borders?

If the wages for American workers are not high enough, why are we importing 1.24 million legal immigrants in 2015?

If the wages for American workers are not high enough, why have the Dems and Reps allowed 2.5 million more illegal immigrants to enter the country?

[BTW, why does the number of illegal immigrants estimated by pro amnesty Dem and Rep politicians always remain at 11 million?]
