Palin's rebellion - hurting McCain?

Today, Sarah Palin basically told McCain he screwed up with his choice to pull out of Michigan, and that she should lead the charge back in. While I admire her spunk, this puts McCain in a bad position: if he says yes, go ahead, he looks weak because it looks like he’s second guessing himself and bullied by his VP, and if he says no it looks like they are not putting up a unified front in the most important issue of the campaign – how to actually win this thing.

What do you think? I’m not sure arguing amongst themselves via press interviews is necessarily a good thing.
