Ron Paul! Ron Paul! Ron Paul! *(terms and conditions apply)

[Terms and conditions

Terms: Tuesday March 6, 2012 ONLY

Conditions: Virginia GOP primary voters ONLY]

Tomorrow is primary day in Virginia.  Sadly VA voters you have only two choices, Mitt “Go along, get along” Romney and Ron “Off in left field” Paul.

Both candidates have serious deficits in terms of desirability.  Mitt Romney will be the candidate to carry on Obama’s agenda and Ron Paul will not be a presidential candidate after the end of the GOP primary.

Being unable to win the GOP presidential primary is Ron Paul’s advantage for Virginians, of the two he will do the least damage to the GOP.   With the likelihood that John Boehner will remain the Speaker of the House and Mitch McConnell having a good chance at becoming the Majority Leader in the Senate we would get the perfect storm of “Go along, get along” politics with Mitt Romney as the President.

As recent history has shown us the current leadership has at every turn sided with the Democrats against conservatives on issues of exploding budgets, blank check deficits and an absolute disinterest in controlling overbearing regulation .   Mitt Romney’s record is a record of someone in tune with the Democrats be it spending, tax increases (and no, calling it a fee does not make it better), liberal judges or socializing health care.

So GOP Virginia voters if you are supporters of Newt Gingrich or Rick Santorum I ask you to vote Ron Paul on March 6, 2012.  Mitt Romney must be denied Virginia’s delegates!

[Full Disclosure: Sadly this year’s primary is shaping up to be the year of “least worst”.  Essentially the field has been cleared of actual conservatives.    Looking at the candidates actual records (not what they say) we are down to unabashed liberal (Mitt Romney), big government conservative (Rick Santorum) and part time conservative (Newt Gingrich).  Currently I’m going with Newt Gingrich the part time conservative.  Newt may actually cut the size of government despite the best efforts of congress (both R and D) to continue its growth.  I just don’t see Romney ever cutting the size or scope of the government, in fact his is a record of someone who will only grow it further.]
