“The Hill” is reporting that [mc_name name=’Sen. Bob Corker (R-TN)’ chamber=’senate’ mcid=’C001071′ ] will oppose Loretta Lynch for Attorney General, if and when her nomination comes to the Senate floor.
Assuming all Democrats vote for her, Lynch would need the votes of FOUR GOP senators to be confirmed.
Flake, Collins, Graham, and Hatch have previously suggested they might vote for her.
Hatch is thoroughly despicable. He vowed to be a staunch conservative in his last election. That’s what happens when you give the old bulls one last term, instead of sending them off to pasture. There is absolutely no accountability, as they will never have to face the voters again.
So, is Graham actually THAT stupid?
Does he really expect to contend for the GOP nomination after being the vote that makes Obama apologist Lynch the next AG?
Sounds like Lynch is a goner…unless Graham justifies his vote to confirm her by saying he did so because she “won’t be half as bad as Holder.” Obama said Holder would stay on until his successor is confirmed, so expect Graham to say that “he took one for the nation” just to get Holder out of office.
