I was really looking forward to savoring last night’s BIG win..but two stories this morning have started the wheels turning:
“No Obama pivot after midterms..” Obama will push forward with unilateral amnesty.
And [mc_name name=’Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D-IL)’ chamber=’house’ mcid=’G000535′ ] (D-Mexico) says that Obama must enact immigration reform…Latinos won’t wait any longer.
Several Democrat myths were exploded last night:
1. They said that Obama wasn’t on the ballot. He was. Big time.
2. They said that Obamacare wasn’t on the ballot. It was. Big time.
Polls have shown that about two-thirds of Americans are opposed to blanket amnesty for illegals.
Hillary ( if she jumps in) is the presumptive nominee. Other Democrats considering their options..Sanders,Warren, O’Malley ( though he was all but repudiated last night) all have one thing in common..they are to her left.
Biden has no chance…he’s tied to Obama…he’ll go down with him.
But if Obama amnesties millions via executive action, that decision wil also be on the 2016 ballot. Big Time.
Hillary is stuck. Either she agrees with his decision, which will cost her the election, or she opposes it, which will all but invite a primary challenger, and also, even if she wins the nomination, will cost her a lot of support in the Democrat base.
She can’t have it both ways on this one.
And it just might be the deciding reason why Obama decides to push ahead with amnesty. He wants it, and it has the added bonus of wiping out the Clintons in 2016.
