That was the headline today. That the White House would not be celebrating the troops coming home from Iraq.  There is no further need to delineate the atrocities by this administration against The People of These United States of America. Their blunders, miscalculations, carelessness,  hypocrisy and outright deceit as well as what is becoming obvious disdain for the American public has grown in such hubris that their downfall, already written in stone, is of their own doing.

This is truly, truly sad.  All the more so for our Vietnam Vets who too, shared the sacrifices of war in an era long past.  So too now, our brave children return to an America whose government has become hostile to its courageous men and women of the military as well as its own citizenry.  An America that is both fiscally and morally bankrupt.  An America that no longer respects the will of the people or their faith in God. Perhaps saddest of all… An America divided.

Many will come back and not recognize what has become of America the beautiful, America the great. Land of the free and home of the brave.  They will see a people bound by fear and trepidation.  Hoping against hope that this is all just a nightmare that we will wake up from.  Their reception by our government however, will be a bucket of icy salt water falling upon wounds that have yet to heal. Yet, their remains hope.

Faith in the Almighty Creator upon whom we have built our very foundation.  Inscribed within our founding documents and there, for all eternity, for ALL eyes to see, is the homage to our Creator who endowed us with inalienable rights. Where we are all equal in Gods eyes.  Where we (America) by the sweat, blood and tears of that we have shed, have persevered!
