The Daily Kos, seemingly not happy about John McCain’s bounce in independent, non-partisan polls such as Gallup, Hotline, Rasmussen, etc., has decided to partner with the polling firm Research 2000 to conduct a daily tracking poll to measure voter sentiment on a daily basis.
Is Research 2000 really an “independent” firm? Let’s just say that in the wake of John McCain’s selection of Sarah Palin as his VP nominee, the president of Research 2000 had this to say:
In my estimation as a pollster and analyst, while historic for the GOP in selecting their first woman on a national ticket, this choice may be the worst selection by a major party nominee for President in modern times.
Sounds independent and unbiased enough to me!
