The Arctic - Latest Playground For The Current Administration.

It began for me with a simple and seemingly innocuous short Presidential Memorandum dated 22 July 2010.

The White House

Office of the Press Secretary
For Immediate Release
July 22, 2010
Presidential Memorandum–Arctic Research and Policy Act

SUBJECT: Designation of the National Science and Technology Council to Coordinate Certain Activities Under the Arctic Research and Policy Act of 1984

By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, including the Arctic Research and Policy Act of 1984 (Title I of Public Law 98 373) (the “Act”), I hereby assign to the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) responsibility to coordinate activities assigned in sections 107 and 108 of the Act to the Interagency Arctic Research Policy Committee, including through committees of the NSTC.

The Director of the Office of Science and Technology Policy is authorized and directed to publish this memorandum in the Federal Register.

Let’s parse this Presidential Memorandum and identify the participants, shall we ?

The Arctic Research And Policy Act Of 1984 (Title I of Public Law 98 373).

….. is part of NSF – The National Science Foundation.

NSF leadership has two major components: a director who oversees NSF staff and management responsible for program creation and administration, merit review, planning, budget and day-to-day operations; and a 24-member National Science Board (NSB) of eminent individuals that meets six times a year to establish the overall policies of the foundation. The director and all Board members serve six year terms. Each of them, as well as the NSF deputy director, is appointed by the President of the United States and confirmed by the U.S. Senate. At present, NSF has a total workforce of about 2,100 at its Arlington, Va., headquarters, including approximately 1,400 career employees, 200 scientists from research institutions on temporary duty, 450 contract workers and the staff of the NSB office and the Office of the Inspector General.

NSF is divided into the following seven directorates that support science and engineering research and education: Biological Sciences, Computer and Information Science and Engineering, Engineering, Geosciences, Mathematics and Physical Sciences, Social, Behavioral and Economic Sciences, and Education and Human Resources.

—  —  —  —

Acting NSF Director Cora B. Marrett.
Ms. Marrett is a member of The National Science Board.

Oddly enough, Ms. Marrett contributed to the ‘Obama For America’ PAC.
But that doesn’t matter now, does it ?

As an independent Federal agency, NSF does not fall within a cabinet department; rather NSF’s activities are guided by The National Science Board (NSB or Board).

This entity of the NSF approves and works with some very interesting ongoing and undoubtedly highly classified projects.

The Interagency Arctic Research Policy Committee (IARPC).

The Interagency Arctic Research Policy Committee (IARPC) includes representatives of the following Federal agencies or offices:

National Science Foundation
Department Of Commerce
Department Of Defense
Department Of State
Department Of Health and Human Services
Department Of Homeland Security
Office of Science And Technology Policy
Department Of Agriculture
Department Of Energy
Department Of The Interior
Department Of Transportation
National Aeronautics And Space Administration
Environmental Protection Agency
Smithsonian Institution
National Endowment For The Humanities

The National Science Foundation (NSF) is the lead agency responsible for implementing Arctic research policy, and the NSF chairs the IARPC.

I have the feeling you’re asking yourself ‘why is Kenny going a bit over the edge here ?’.

A quite simple explanation shall presently be afforded you.

I didn’t forget one agency name, I saved it for last:  The National Science and Technology Councilwww.ostp.gov/cs/nstc

Oops, must be a mistake somewhere…. That address seems to re-direct over to The White House website and the page for The Office Of Science And Technology Policywww.whitehouse.gov/administration/eop/ostp

Yeah, must be a simple coding and semantic error.  The current administration would never co-opt any kind of scientific body created by Bill Clinton, would they ?

See it yet ?

Are you understanding what this most recent Presidential Memorandum has produced ?

I’ll have at it for you in some variant of English, as I learned during my edumakashunel yeerz.

It appears as if the current President Of The United States, Barack Hussein Obama, has officially placed the authority for all Arctic “research” oversight and reporting under the umbrella of one Mr. John P. ‘Eugenics’ Holdren, Science Czar.

Now why would the current President of The United States do something like that ?

It’s not like this administration will ever allow any oil, gas, mineral or other exploration and even tests for human endurance in The Arctic area of what’s left of The United States.

After all, The Arctic is just a vast wasteland populated by cute and furry animals, each of which have many more rights than all humans combined.

Look, just because the current administration is making every attempt to generate their endgame crisis too good to waste and when it happens, needs an immense area to dump all the captured typical bit…………

Oops !

I don’t think I was supposed to figure out any of that.

There are layers upon layers upon layers of agencies, directors, boards, organizations and personnel – with all currently in place personnel undoubtedly now required to be true believers in this administration and it’s goals……… all funded by you and me.

Every agency in AlphabetSoupLand probably thinks they’re in charge of everything to some degree and they all have the the egos and bureaucracies to prove it.  But they’re all subservient to a single unelected based-in-evil man who reports to only The POTUS……. who himself will swear in front of a mirror that he reports to nobody for any reason.

My name is Kenny and I’m a certified Snarkaholic.

I also think I’ve been pretty darn close (if not spot on) regarding a whole bunch of stuff about this administration and their operational goals of taking down our nation.

I’ll leave it for you to decide where this diary resides.

She’s He’s blinding me us with science !
Hit Kill me us with technology.
She’s He’s blinding me us with science !
Isn’t it just lovely.

Cheers !
