The first three things you’re about to see came in one at a time on the same news service and don’t fit anywhere on their own, but together, they fit everywhere. I was gonna let ’em be and off RedState. I really wasn’t in the mood to kick off another diary after dealing with all the Kyrgyzstan stuff the past few days.
It’s the fourth thing that made me run up this lovely missive for your perusal.
Fasten your seat belts, it’s gonna be a bumpy ride.
Turkish forces push into northern Iraq.
Turkish forces have pushed into northern Iraq, killing four people, including a 15-year-old girl, as they hit back against hideouts of Kurdish rebels who killed 12 soldiers in the deadliest spell of violence in two years.
The ground incursion into Iraq came after Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan vowed to fight the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) “to the end” and PKK spokesman Ahmed Denis hit back with a threat to attack cities across Turkey if the army did not halt its policy of confrontation.
“We are not going to slide into defeatism… we are going to fight on to the end,” Erdogan said at the televised ceremony.

Hey President Disaster: You Lie !!!
US downplays 2011 Afghan withdrawal.
US Defense Secretary Robert Gates has rejected suggestions that US forces will move out of Afghanistan in large numbers in July of next year under a deadline set by President Barack Obama.
“That absolutely has not been decided,” Gates said in an interview with the Fox News Sunday program.
His comment was the latest indication that the magnitude of the drawdown, if not the deadline itself, is the subject of an intensifying internal debate at a time when a NATO-led campaign against the Taliban is going slower than expected.

So……. Sveetie……. Dahlink…….. Lemme axe you a question:
What if Egypt graced the world with a major oil spill and nobody noticed for at least four days ?
An oil spill off the Egyptian Red Sea coast of Hurghada, threatening to damage marine life in the area, has prompted environmental agencies to demand tighter regulation of offshore oil platforms.
Large quantities of oil have appeared in recent days around the resorts of Hurghada, which draw millions of tourists who come to dive or snorkel, according to the Hurghada Environmental Protection and Conservation Agency (HEPCA).
“It started four or five days ago and the companies responsible didn’t notify anyone. It is catastrophic,” HEPCA managing director Amr Ali told AFP. The spill was caused by leakage from an offshore oil platform north of Hurghada and has polluted protected areas and showed up on tourist beach resorts.

There are NO coincidences anymore….. None.
Betcha don’t know this………. As this totally unrelated to anything anywhere oil spill in The Red Sea was not being noticed by anyone, The USS Harry S. Truman and her escorts, along with an Israeli Navy ship transited The Suez Canal INTO The Red Sea.
Think I’m kiddin’, dontcha ?
The United States has a carrier and escorts, including an Israeli Navy ship in The Red Sea.
They just sailed in as the oil spill ‘was not being noticed’.
Egypt allowed a fleet of U.S. Navy vessels and at least one Israeli ship to pass through the Suez Canal to the Red Sea, news media reported Saturday.
Al-Quds al-Arabi, an Arabic-language newspaper published in Britain, reported the group included a U.S. aircraft carrier, the Israeli newspaper Haaretz said. Thousands of Egyptian soldiers were sent to the area to protect the ships during the canal passage.
DEBKAfile.com reported there were 11 U.S. warships led by the carrier USS Truman. The news Web site said all commercial and civilian traffic through the Suez was halted while the warships passed through Friday.

Egypt to the fleet: ‘Welcome to Egypt……. There’s too much oil around the waters that simply came out of nowhere. We’re sorry, but none of your ships can transit out until we stop the leak and clean it all up. Thing is, all the people and equipment to do this are in The United States Gulf Of Mexico, so you all might be here for a while. Too bad none of your aircraft will be allowed in our airspace, and it really sucks that none of your weapons can reach from here to whoever you consider an enemy – except into Israel, of course.……. By the way, speaking of them, can y’all back your ships away from that one Zionist terrorist Israeli Navy boat that we let in on purpose came in with you ? We want to have a word with them in private. About a four-mile collateral damage buffer zone distance for you guys will be fine.’
