Former President Clinton Undergoes Heart Surgery After Chest Pains.

Thankfully, he should be fine.

Say a prayer for the former President’s full recovery.

This surgery and treatment is becoming basically routine, but anytime you deal with the heart, things can happen.

Bill Clinton underwent heart surgery at a New York City hospital Thursday to get two stents implanted after he felt “discomfort in his chest,” a representative for the former president said.

Clinton counselor Douglas Band said in a written statement that Clinton is in “good spirits” after the operation at the Columbia Campus of New York Presbyterian Hospital. Band said Clinton underwent the procedure to place the stents in one of his coronary arteries following a visit to his cardiologist.

My Dad had a quad bypass at 73 years young…….. Two stents about three years later……. He’s 87 now.
