The Packers and the Steelers….No not the Football Teams, I Mean the President and His Party Planners

Wow, isn’t this exciting?… The President is having a big Super Bowl party. Among the 100 guests of lawmakers and cabinet members are Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez. (In case you didn’t know, they are super important to bi-partisanship). Did you (the taxpayer) get invited to the party? Nah,… me either. SIGH… so what are we missing out on?

Bratwurst, kielbasa, cheeseburgers, deep-dish pizza and Buffalo wings. There’s also German potato salad, twice baked potatoes and assorted chips and dips. For dessert there is ice cream. Ya know, all the really good super foods the first lady has stricken from the American diet. (Lest we, the taxpayer’s, get fatter and then unable to work to pay off these shmoozer parties.)

But, seriously, what could be fatter than the spending, spending, and more frivolous spending of our own President? I am absolutely disgusted and outraged at his poor decision making. Didn’t anyone on his team speak up and suggest having a big Super Bowl party might not be such a great idea right now?

There is unrest all over the world, our nation is completely crippled by debt, unemployment is high, and people in the mid-west are without power from the latest winter storms! Many American’s roofs have collapsed, and several states have declared emergencies.

What are these people thinking?

Two years ago, in reference to another Super Bowl party,  Robert Gibbs was quoted in the NY Daily News as saying “The President believes … that this type of outreach is important.”  Robert Gibbs calls Super Bowl parties at the White House “Outreach.”

As far as I’m concerned spending the taxpayer’s money on a Super Bowl party is stealing. This kind of behavior is careless and wreckless. It is completely incomprehensible to me. I believe it sends a message to the American people that our President isn’t serious about anything he says. It also sends a very clear message to the countries we are in debt to, especially China. Our President looks like a fool with flippant decisions like this.

I would even go go so far as to say, that any lawmaker or cabinet member that shows up at this party should be voted out of office next term. This is taking advantage of the citizens of this country. We have repeatedly been sending very clear messages to Washington demanding they STOP SPENDING! But this is a slap in the face.

Yeah, this Super Bowl party is about the Packers and Steelers for sure. But, the players are President Obama and his pompous decision makers “Packing” on the debt and “Stealing” from the people’s purse.

Shame on you President Obama.
