The Washington Post, CNN, Daily Beast, Huffington Post and The Palmer Report are reporting that a diplomatic breakthrough has been achieved in the high stakes summit between President Trump and Vladimir Putin.  According to several unnamed sources, Putin has agreed to withdraw his non-existent troops from eastern Ukraine.  In exchange, Trump has promised to annex the state of Vermont and four neighboring counties in New York to Russia.

Details are sketchy on a timeline, but several unnamed sources say both sides would like to move immediately on the transaction.  It is believed, according to CNN commentator Chris Cillizza that Trump originally offered two-thirds of California, but Putin rejected the initial offer citing the state was “too Communist” for his liking.  The deal must first be approved by Special Counsel Robert Mueller.
