My early voting story

I went to do early voting this morning. I figured 10:30AM on a Thursday should be a safe time to avoid the crowds.

Well when I got there, there were 30 people in line ahead of me, and when I finally got to the front of the line, there were 50 people behind me. This is Brevard County, Florida, a VERY RED county. Out of the 100 or so people I saw voting today, I was maybe the third or fourth youngest. In all, I counted less than 10 (and I’m being generous) people in line that would fit the Obama profile.

I probably waited 30 minutes to vote, and no one got out of line the whole time. Everyone that got in the line waited it out and voted.

Yes, it is just one story, and not statistically significant. But it also flies in the face of the memes of GOP voters not being enthusiastic, and that young and black voters will be overwhelming the early voting.
