As many of you know, Obama has been struggling lately to ward off (accurate) accusations that his tax policies amount to a forced redistribution of wealth. He knows he cannot win a reasonable discussion on the matter, so this is how he defends his socialist philosophy:
“I don’t know what’s next,” Obama said. “By the end of the week, he’ll be accusing me of being a secret communist because I shared my toys in kindergarten.”
He went on to further ridicule his opponents, saying that they would claim he was a socialist because he split his peanut butter sandwich with his friends as a kid.
Let’s be clear, Mr. Obama. We do not care what you do with your *toys and *your peanut butter sandwiches. If you choose to give them to others, you are displaying care and compassion. That is not socialism, that is blessing others freely from that which you have been blessed with.
But, Mr. Obama, our toys and our peanut butter sandwiches do not belong to you. You have no right to take them and give them to others. We should make that decision for ourselves, just as you did when you were a child. Forcing us to give you our toys and sandwiches so you can give them to whomever you please is not care and compassion, it is the cold tyranny of a socialist state.
Please, Mr. Obama, feel free to give away all the toys and peanut butter sandwiches you wish.
Just make sure they come from your lunch/toy box, not ours.
