Defunding Evil is More Important Than Building Roads

Well, if Planned Parenthood thought they were going to get off the hook, they were incredibly mistaken. The Center for Medical Progress released another undercover video this morning, and this one is probably the most sickening one yet. I hesitate to include the link, because it is so unspeakably grisly. But if you’re still not convinced Planned Parenthood is evil, go watch it. Remember that I warned you.

I’ll be honest – I’m angry. I’m incredibly angry that we allow this to happen in the United States of America. I don’t care what you believe about abortion, if your politics causes you to defend what Planned Parenthood has done, you need to reexamine your politics.

My heart is broken for the people in the videos who can discuss dissecting babies so glibly. They are totally desensitized to evil. I am angry with them, yes, but I am also praying for their souls.

But most of all, I’m spurred to action. These videos have deepened my resolve to ensure that I outlive Planned Parenthood. I’m determined to end the flow of taxpayer dollars to an organization that is so evil.

I realize when we’re dealing with crimes of this nature, (as Mollie Hemingway pointed out), defunding the organization that committed them seems like an insufficient response. But it is a start. Prosecuting the people responsible for these crimes is also an excellent idea.

“To compel a man to furnish contributions of money for the propagation of opinions which he disbelieves and abhors, is sinful and tyrannical.” – Thomas Jefferson

Let me recap what GOP leadership has done so far to stop what Jefferson called “sinful and tyrannical.”

…………………………………………………..

Yeah, that’s right. Nothing. Oh sure, McConnell “fast-tracked” a bill to defund PP, but that’s just political theater. He refused to allow an amendment to the highway bill on Sunday that would have done the same thing.

As for Speaker Boehner, he said he “needed more facts” before voting to defund Planned Parenthood.

Really, Mr. Speaker? Here’s a quick fact for you: Planned Parenthood smashes open the skulls of little babies and vacuums out their brains. That really should be all you need to know. But in case you still need “more facts,” we’ve recently found out what they do with the little babies after they kill them. They put them in pie plates and dissect them like lab rats. Then they sell the baby body parts and buy Lamborghinis.

Any questions?

I’m sorry to be so gruesome, but I’m filled with righteous indignation at how some people treat this as just another political issue. This is not a political issue. It’s an issue of our national morality.

If the government of the United States continues to give Planned Parenthood tax dollars, they will be no better than the government of Nazi Germany.

Yes, I went there.

And no, I’m not sorry.

Is there really a better comparison? The Nazis killed innocent people, dissected their bodies, and used their body parts for medical research.

Today, we look back at the German citizens who silently accepted the Holocaust and condemn them. We ask how they could be so numb, so uncaring, that they would do nothing to stop the evil.

Ladies and gentlemen, I submit to you that we are no better than they. As taxpayers, our money has been given to these doctors of death to pay them for their unspeakably evil acts. Willingly or not, we have paid for the slaughter and dismemberment of unborn children. We have blood on our hands.

And it is high time we stop paying for murder.

It’s time to take action.

Go to www.openstates.org and find your representative and senators. Call them, and let them know in no uncertain terms that you don’t want another dime of your tax dollars going to Planned Parenthood. And make sure they understand that defunding Planned Parenthood should be a top priority.

Because at some point, cleansing the blood from the hands of the American taxpayer should take precedence over reauthorizing a bank and building roads.
