A Simple Way to Reinforce God in Our Public Schools

Due to this:

I feel the need to share this:

I am a ninth grade public school teacher who regularly gets discouraged at the amount of students who come from broken families.  To me these are the students who desperately need a relationship with God, especially if they are boys.   As we all know God is being torn from the public arena across the country.  However, he is still in our schools everyday in the Pledge of Allegiance.    Late one night, God laid on my heart a simple strategy to follow.  I simply stated to my students, “I feel we need God to bless this school and some people in this school, so during the pledge when we get to “under God”  I am going to shout that part to give praise to God, if you would like to do that as well feel free”.  I would say 85% of the class did so.   It was incredibly heartwarming and hopeful.    We now do this everyday and the enthusiasm hasn’t changed.  I want to pass this along because it seems to be a way to get God’s presence and divine blessings back in our schools.  It also does not appear to violate any rules since it is said everyday across the country anyway and is kept completely voluntary.  If you feel the same please pass this on to any educators you know and we may be able to make this a nation-wide occurrence.   May God continue to bless America and the many young people who desperately need him.

P.S. I hope I have not violated any posting rules.  Please forgive me if I have, I just felt this needed to be shared with as many people as possible.
