Judicial Appointments: They need to start up again

Super short diary…

Since February 25th we have had only 5 appointments, and 68 district courts are lacking a justice.  There are 43 nominees awaiting confirmation.  I would love to see some more of the older jurists take a senior role and have Donald Trump nominate their replacements.  However, if the Senate can’t get the current slots filled I don’t see why any of George Bush’s appointees would take senior status.  Fill the current slots (no seat left behind) and then convince more aging jurists to step down.  What are we waiting on?
