My ideas for ads for the Cruz campaign in California

Update-  Well, it turns out this was too little too late, but I figure I’ll post it anyway, just for the heck of it, as a tribute to Sen. Cruz.

This may be too little and too late to help Sen. Cruz win in California, but nevertheless, I came up with some ideas for campaign ads that I believe could help him at least steal some votes away from Kasich in some of the suburbs of California.

This is what I came up with:

1)Title-  Women for Cruz.  Do an ad with Heidi Cruz where she talks directly to the voters and describes how much of a family man Sen. Cruz is, and in particular she talks to women and explains why he’ll look out for them and how his policies will help them.  She can talk about all the things Ted has done for her over the years and all the good qualities he has that caused her to fall in love with him.

This will humanize him and possibly change the horrible perceptions many people have of Sen. Cruz that the media have added to, but that honestly he hasn’t helped with his own style of speaking.

2)Title- Bodyguards- run clip of Glenn Beck describing his conversation with one of Ted’s bodyguards. That’s all that needs to be shown.

3)Using quotes from this article on Paul Manafort, show how dirty he is and tell voters that if Trump became president, this is the kind of person he’d have at the highest levels of gov’t, possibly even as his Chief of Staff, which would be a disaster for the country.

4)Do a funny ad with my favorite Trump impersonator mocking Trump, I think it would get under his skin.  They could have him read some of Trump’s dumber statements, or they could even have a mock debate between Sen. Cruz and Trump where Cruz can take apart Trump’s positions on various issues and ask him questions he doesn’t have answers to.

5)Title-  “You’ve been Trumped”.  I believe this could be the most devastating ad of them all.  I watched a documentary with the above title, and it’s 100% true.  It’s about how Trump bullied the people of Scotland into allowing him to build a golf course in a beautiful coastal area that had been untouched for thousands of years.  The more I watched, the angrier I got, because it shows how Trump treated the people of Scotland like dogs, especially the poor people who lived on the land he used to build his golf course.

They could just show brief clips from that documentary, or use quotes from the man who became a national hero in Scotland for standing up to Trump and refusing to sell his home and land to Trump just so he could build a hotel for his golf course.

If anyone else has any ideas for ads, feel free to suggest them in the comments section.  I also welcome constructive criticism of my own ideas, but I believe these would be effective ads for the Cruz campaign in California.
