The town hall meetings are showing an informed American public strongly opposing socialized healthcare. Specter and Sibelius being rudely greeted in Philadelphia is just a start (It was nice to see a disgusted Sibelius getting shouted down, and Specter being abused. They both deserve it for perpetrating this fraud).
Rep. Lloyd Doggett D-Texas blames the Republicans. His comments from a recent AP article are below:
“This mob … did not come just to be heard, but to deny others the right to be heard. And this appears to be part of a coordinated, nationwide effort. What could be more appropriate for the ‘party of no’ than having its stalwarts drowning out the voices of their neighbors by screaming ‘Just say no!
Hey Lloyd it’s called protest! You know like the tea parties that have been going on the last seven months. It’s a first amendment right from that little ole document called the constitution. Remember? We’re happy with our healthcare and don’t want the government running it like “Car for Clunkers”, or the post office.
Yet these jackals won’t stop. Despite the public outcry Chuck Schumer proclaims he has a plan to get the bill pushed through. Well Chuckles you need to be pushed out the door when your term is up. HEY NEW YORK WAKE UP! CHUCKIE’S PUTTIN’ THE SCREWS TO YA’!
The arrogance of these progressives needs to come at a price. That price is losing control of the house in 2010, and the senate in 2012. Hey Mr. President even so-called messiahs can be one termers.
