There was an announcement today that Ruth Ginsburg had surgery for pancreatic cancer. While it sounds like they may have caught it early, pancreatic cancer is a nasty one and the 5 year survival rate is low.

My brother-in-law was recently diagnosed with a more advanced case so this particular announcement hits a little close to home.

Again, my prayers for a full and speedy recovery.
