New Hampshire’s WMUR reports on polls showing that Senator John Sununu is significantly narrowing his gap against Jeanne Shaheen, but also that former Congressman Jeb Bradley is making big progress in an effort to reclaim the seat he held before he was defeated by Carol Shea Porter:
The race between Democratic U.S. Rep. Carol Shea-Porter and Republican former Rep. Jeb Bradley remains close, with Shea-Porter leading 44 to 41 percent. The tracking polls in the 1st District have fluctuated, with Shea-Porter leading by 13 points on Tuesday but just 2 points on Wednesday.
Because the district polls have a smaller sample size, the margin of error is larger, at 5.5 percent for the 1st District. Thirteen percent of voters said they are undecided.
