We are all thankful for the many sacrifices made by the brave men and women of our Armed Forces to keep us safe and defend our freedoms on a daily basis.
They certainly deserve our praise, but let us not forget to show proper gratitude to the real hero of this story, the one who made this whole thing possible—Barack Obama.
Without the numerous sacrifices of our president, the mission to kill Osama bin Laden would never have gotten off the ground. Yes, the Navy SEALs put their lives on the line, but President Obama went one step further. He put his golf game on the line.
After playing five weekends in a row, he had to cut last weekend’s golf excursion tragically short in order to attend the final briefing for the kill operation. He barely completed 9 out of 18 holes before answering the call to serve.
Only three hours of golf on a Sunday? That’s almost too much to ask, even from the President of the United States.
This, fellow Americans, is the definition of sacrifice.
