Obama's War on the War on Terror

Sisi - CopyReprinted from Instigator News Network

President Obama’s recent treatment of our “allies” reveals his true ideology, even to those dolts who’ve been taken in by his charade as a moderate. He has upgraded Iran from most treacherous enemy status to most esteemed ally, while consigning Israel to a slot somewhere between Russia and North Korea.

Israel has endured a string of punishments administered by the Obama White House since January 21st, when Speaker Boehner invited Prime Minister Netanyahu to address a joint session of Congress. And coming from a cabal that’s forever carping about Israel’s “disproportionate” responses to Hamas rocketry, these penalties are off-the-charts payback for a speech. They’re so far off-the-charts, it’s obvious to anyone whose head doesn’t screw on that Obama has been waiting a long time for an excuse to unleash them.

First, the Pentagon released a reportedly classified, highly detailed 386-page report on Israel’s nuclear program. Never before has an American president violated the tacit agreement to keep this info under wraps. “The revelation marks a first in which the US published in a document a description of how Israel attained hydrogen bombs,” said Israel National News.

Grant Smith, of the Institute for Research: Middle Eastern Policy had filed a Freedom of Information request for the document in January of 2012, but the White House has resisted complying for over three years. Smith was described by the Examiner as “a critic of many U.S. policies related to Israel and of what he believes to be the inordinate influence of Israel in the American government.” He maintained the document had never been classified. In September of last year, acting pro se, he filed a lawsuit to compel the document’s release.

The Pentagon requested time for the Israeli government to review the document, telling the court, “DoD would be placed in a difficult position of honoring both the authority of this Court and the sanctity of its diplomatic agreements. It’s unclear whether Israeli officials actually completed a review of the material.

On March 26th, the Washington Examiner said:

“Defense officials attempted a variety of legal maneuvers over the past three years to avoid releasing the document before complying with the FOIA request last month.

“The report, a copy of which was obtained by the Washington Examiner, revealed a highly unusual level of detail about the Israeli government’s research, including the names of scientists who worked on weapons systems, the locations of military research and pages of charts with specific dimensions.

“The release nearly coincided with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s highly controversial address to Congress earlier this month, raising questions as to why the Pentagon suddenly complied with a 2012 FOIA request that had become the subject of a lawsuit.”

On March 18th, State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki told reporters, “The prime minister’s recent statements call into question his commitment to a two-state solution. We’re not going to prejudge what we would do if there was a U.N. action.” Meaning we might not veto a UN approval of a Palestinian state.

But Israel is not the only long-time ally to earn Obama’s scorn.

Egypt has been our ally and arms client for decades, yet has been frozen out of American military aid—which they urgently need to combat ISIS and other terror groups attacking from all sides. Its popular president, Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, says Obama hasn’t delivered any arms to them since June of 2014—the month Sisi became president. In a March 9th FNC interview, Sisi told Bret Baer:

“The United States has been helping Egypt…30 years or more….Our need for the weapons and for the equipment is dire….Egyptians…would like to feel the United States is standing by them in [their] fight against terrorism.”

Aaron Klein reports “A senior Egyptian intelligence official told KleinOnline…ISIS has united with other jihadist groups and is planning an unprecedented surge inside Egypt.” Sisi has been fighting extremists in their Sinai territory and in Libya, which is on Egypt’s western border. But, Klein says, the president’s plea for arms is to defend against “…a major Islamic insurgency aimed at toppling Abdel Fattah al-Sisi’s secular regime.”

On March 31st, the WSJ announced the Obama WH had agreed to provide military aid, likely in response to Fox’s coverage, though the WH claims the decision “had been in the process for weeks.”

“The White House said it would release 12 F-16 aircraft, 20 Harpoon missiles, and up to 125 M1A1 Abrams tank kits. The White House also said it would continue to ask Congress for $1.3 billion a year in annual aid to Egypt.”

Fox’s Stuart Varney interviewed KT McFarland on March 10th; she had just returned from Cairo.

Varney: I am told by Egyptians living in America that they believe that president Obama is on the side of the Muslim Brotherhood and not Sisi. What are they saying in Egypt?

KT: Same thing: I met with the religious leaders, I met with the Grand Imam (in one of the first Group of Americans to meet with them)…I met with the Coptic Christian Pope, Tawadros, and they were all saying the same thing: they are in the front lines. they are fighting in Libya, they’re fighting in the Sinai; but they’re also fighting within their religion. The Grand Imam went to Mecca and said to the religious leaders of the Muslim world: we must reform, …to call out this radical version of our religion which endorses terrorism, & we must re-educate, we must have a focus on education in our schools. And at the same time, the president was meeting with the Muslim Brotherhood and the Muslim Brotherhood is not saying the same thing.

Egypt’s apparent sin was then-General al-Sisi’s deposing of President Mohamed Morsi in 2013. Sisi was elected president overwhelmingly on June 4, 2014. Some, in America—including some Republicans—called Morsi’s removal “the coup of a democratically elected president.” The White House refrained from calling it a coup, but halted military aid that month, and hasn’t resumed.

What kind of man was Morsi, what kind of president? He had been a leader of Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood, before becoming president. He’s also a fan of the Blind Sheik and a devout believer that Jews are “bloodsuckers” and “descendants of apes and pigs.”

Morsi’s tenure was notable for his seizing of dictatorial powers and for crimes against humanity—particularly Christians.

The Cairo Institute for Human Rights has listed a host of violations, including:

“Protests have repeatedly been suppressed through excessive use of force, [resulting] in large numbers of deaths and injuries. Among the victims were a number of prominent activists oppos[ing] the Muslim Brotherhood who were shot in the head.

During Morsi’s year in office, there were 359 documented cases of torture, more than in ten years under Mubarak.

To top all, Morsi devastated the nation’s already shaky economy, forcing Egyptians to queue up in breadlines.

After a petition demanding early elections had garnered 22 million signatures, and the largest demonstration in history—30 million people—Sisi removed Morsi, to avert civil war, he maintains. Since then, Sisi outlawed the Brotherhood and has fought an all-out war on terror against their return. He asserts, “They turned [Egyptians’] lives into a living hell….Do you think…Egypt will become like the Taliban and destroy the pyramids?”

On New Year’s Day, Sisi became the sole Middle East leader, ever, to call for a reformation of Islam. He did so in a speech before leading Imams at Al-Azhar, renowned as Sunni Islam’s most prestigious university. Its Islamic scholars render edicts to the Sunni Islamic world regarding proper conduct for Muslims.

Six days later—Coptic Christmas is January 7th—he cut short a visit to Kuwait and flew in to attend Christmas mass, unannounced, at Saint Mark’s Coptic Orthodox Cathedral—again, the first Egyptian president to do so—in a country where violence against Christians has been endemic. The congregation cheered, as he entered with his entourage and greeted the Coptic Pope, Tawadros II, kissing him on both cheeks, French style.

For the next ten minutes, the nation witnessed an extraordinary lovefest on state television. Clearly enjoying himself, the president addressed the congregation, with broad smiles breaking into laughter. Behold: A president who brings people together:

Surely, this was a day members of the Muslim Brotherhood—which had long persecuted Christians—spent gnashing their teeth.

Sisi’s call for reformation is already driving positive change. In an interview with Stuart Varney, Fox’s KT McFarland said she spoke with the Grand Imam in Cairo: “The Grand Imam went to Mecca and said to the religious leaders of the Muslim world: we must reform,…to call out this radical version of our religion which endorses terrorism, and we must re-educate, we must have a focus on education in our schools.”

To its shame, shortly after Sisi’s unprecedented acts, and knowing the Brotherhood was outlawed in Egypt, the Obama State Department “hosted a delegation of Muslim Brotherhood-aligned leaders,” according to the Washington Free Beacon, “about their ongoing efforts to oppose the current government of President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi.” Egypt expert Eric Trager tweeted that the “‘anti-coup’ delegation, which includes 2 top [Muslim Brothers], had ‘fruitful’ conversations at [the] State Dept.”

“Samuel Tadros, an[other] Egypt expert and research fellow at the Hudson Institute, opined that the visit also helped in “organizing the pro Muslim Brotherhood movement in the U.S. ….”

Just what Americans would want.

Terrorism expert and national security reporter Patrick Poole declared:

“What this shows is that the widespread rejection of the Muslim Brotherhood across the Middle East, particularly the largest protests in recorded human history in Egypt…that led to Morsi’s ouster is not recognized by the State Department and the Obama administration.” He added, “This is a direct insult to our Egyptian allies, who are in an existential struggle against the Muslim Brotherhood.”

Did the meeting at State also green light the Brotherhood and other terror groups to launch an attempt to topple the Sisi government? Maybe, since only days later, “The Muslim Brotherhood called for ‘a long, uncompromising jihad’ in Egypt,” The Beacon reported.

The Brotherhood is banned in Jordan, Saudi Arabia and UAE, which also barred its spin-offs including al Qaeda, ISIS, Hamas, and 80 other Jihadists groups. Beyond the Mideast, Russia has instituted a ban; the UK and Canada are considering a ban. There is a bill to do the same languishing in Congress, submitted by [mc_name name=’Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN)’ chamber=’house’ mcid=’B001256′ ], with many co-sponsors.

America’s policy, under Obama is nothing short of deranged. In spite of documentary evidence, introduced in the Holy Land Foundation trial that the Brotherhood mission is: “a grand jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and sabotaging its miserable house,” He has made America the organization’s biggest supporter on the planet.

Perhaps readers would like to spend a day reading the vast quantity of evidence introduced in the trial, completely ignored by our government.

The Ikhwan, as they call themselves, have worked for decades to infiltrate key areas in our country. From maozisrael.org: “The universities in America are a major target…an Israeli student who is a pro-Israeli activist in the U.S. said [on Israeli TV] that the Islamic presence and activities on U.S. campuses are enormous.”

In fact shoebat.com provides evidence that Huma Abedin, long conjoined with Hillary Clinton, served on the Muslim Student Association executive board.

The absurd term “Islamophobia,” deliberately coined to neuter response to the threat, has rendered our media incapable of raising the alarm—if they even want to; now they reflexively self-censure to cleanse reports of “offensive” language.

The Obama Administration refuses to even utter the words “radical Islam.” It has purged our defensive services’ manuals of all jihad-related terms and appointed Ikhwan-linked persons to sensitive positions in agencies like DHS, including the overseeing of the purge itself.

The reason for Obama’s about-face is not pique over a speech; he’s not “in over his head.”

He’s held radical views, including contempt for Israel at least as far back as 1998, when he was photographed dining with Israel-despiser Edward Said. Radical Islamist Ali Abunimah, purveyor of the electronic Intifada website, knew him well and says of Obama’s moderate pose:

“He is merely doing what he thinks is necessary to get elected and he will continue doing it as long as it keeps him in power.
