the Obama Manual for Terror Unpreparedness

Since the entire World has witnessed the horror of an armed military-style terror strike in the heart of Paris and we may be next, we should make sure we’ve ticked off every item in the Obama Manual for Terror Unpreparednes

1. Appoint devout Muslims—preferably with Muslim Brotherhood connections—to high positions in DHS. Here are just two examples:

Kareem W. Shora appointed by President Obama In 2009 to the Homeland Security Advisory Council. Within a few months, Shora was appointed the senior policy advisor for DHS’s Community Engagement Section, by Janet Napolitano.

Background: he was the national executive director American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee. While there, he worked with CAIR to lobby against the Bush anti-terrorism measures. He was the co-author of the ADC’s Report on Hate Crimes and Discrimination Against Arab Americans.

He is considered a “friend and ally” of the Center for Constitutional Rights, which describes itself as having filed “innumerable cases” on behalf of GITMO detainees.

Mohamed Elibiary was appointed to the Homeland Security Advisory Council in 2010. He was a senior member until September, when he left amid controversy. The Israelhayom.com newsletter declared he “resign[ed] following tweets about the ‘inevitable’ return of the Caliphate, and ‘misreading’ of 9/11.”

Background: discoverthenetworks.org says of him: “According to the Clarion Project, Elibiary is known for his almost daily advocacy for the Muslim Brotherhood on Twitter. He admits being intimately involved with the Muslim Brotherhood, which he describes as a ‘social network.’” He is one of the architects of the new, non-offensive-to-Muslims guidelines.

2. Hamper the FBI in investigating Islamic terrorists, as much as possible.

On October 19, 2011 Muslim groups sent a comprehensive letter to John Brennan, then–Deputy National Security Advisor and other govt. officials, demanding a host of changes in FBI training, including purging just about all words that could possibly describe Radical Islam.

Shortly after, the Homeland Security Office of Civil Rights and Civil Liberties distributed to Govt. agencies a list of “Countering Violent Extremism Training Do’s and Don’ts, containing things like:

“Review the training program to ensure that it uses examples to demonstrate that terrorists span ethnicity, race, gender and religion.” In other words: terrorists can be Catholic, Jewish, Buddhist…

Oddly–or insanely—some of the groups that helped draft the new rules had been named as unindicted co-conspirators in the 2007 Holy Land Foundation terrorism financing trial, such as: the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), and the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA). The prosecutors declared in court documents that these organizations were connected to the Muslim Brotherhood, under whose direction they had participated in an international conspiracy to syphon cash to Hamas. And the judge agreed.

The defense stipulated, during the trial, to a prosecution exhibit stating that the mission of these organizations was to destroy America’s “miserable house” from within, and place its citizens under sharia law.

As a result, we saw the purging of anything “inaccurate or offensive” from the FBI training manuals. “Offensive” encompasses just about all Islam-related words. 876 pages were deleted. Obama decried the terrorist act, but failed to mention the words “Islam” or “Muslim.” Coincidentally, Reuters quoted this jewel, from France’s President Francois Hollande: “These madmen, fanatics, have nothing to do with the Muslim religion.” Two Socialist imbeciles.

3. Establish that criticizing Islam is the same as racial discrimination. Say—did Jim Crow apply to Muslims, in the days of Segregation? Silly me: I thought it was Black people.

The Daily Caller reported that, in October 2011 DOJ officials, notably Tom Perez, then-head of the DOJ’s civil rights division, attended a meeting with Muslim leaders, who including Mohamed Magid, president of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), as well as Egyptian-born American female lawyer, Sahar Aziz. The latter pressed for criticism of Islam to be classified as racial discrimination.

Aziz said that the DOJ “civil rights lawyers are top of the line — I say this with utter honesty — I know they can come up with a way.” She also noted that if this were accomplished, the effect would be to “take [federal] money away from local police departments and fusion centers who are spying on all of us.” During the meeting, Perez praised the Islamists for lobbying against airline security measures. Sure they’re the best lawyers: reportedly, nine of Holder’s crew used to represent GITMO internees. Things are looking up for them: now, they don’t even have to go to court; they can just release them. See below.

In early December, 2014 Eric Holder put out new federal guidelines expanding the definition of racial discrimination to also include “ethnicity, gender, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, or gender identity.” [Emphasis mine.] An exception was if “there is trustworthy information, relevant to the locality or time frame” that the subject is a “threat to national or homeland security.”

But, “law enforcement officers must also reasonably believe that the…intelligence activity to be undertaken is merited under the totality of the circumstances…such as any temporal exigency and the nature of any potential harm to be averted.” So there’d have to be a definite, impending terror event, in order to do any kind of surveillance, In my opinion. Say thank you, Sahar.

4. Weaken the CIA as much as possible. In December, Democrats released a heavily cherry-picked, opinionated “Torture Report,” which detailed interrogation methods used against captured terrorists. Besides the embarrassment, this had the inevitable effect of discouraging foreign contacts from wanting to work with the CIA. Obama called the report “troubling” and said such methods were “contrary to our values.”

5. Release high-ranking Taliban leaders held at Gitmo, to help out. Like the 5 Taliban leaders exchanged for the controversial Bowe Bergdahl. Here’s what [mc_name name=’Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC)’ chamber=’senate’ mcid=’G000359′ ] said about them:

“They held positions of great importance within the hard-core anti-American Taliban, including the Chief of Staff of the Taliban Army and the Taliban Deputy Minister of Intelligence. They have American blood on their hands and surely as night follows day they will return to the fight. In effect, we released the “Taliban Dream Team.” The United States is less safe because of these actions.” And, of course, he’s released more, since then.

A reasonable explanation for all of this is the deliberate hobbling of our defenses. No one can be this imbecilic. Prove me wrong, Libs!
