Our stimulus dollars at work - Exhibit 1

The AP reports some really great news about bridges today.

Tens of thousands of unsafe or decaying bridges carrying 100 million drivers a day must wait for repairs because states are spending stimulus money on spans that are already in good shape or on easier projects like repaving roads, an Associated Press analysis shows.

A year ago at this time, the AFL-CIO was blasting Bush and Pawlenty for inaction related to the MN bridge collapse and lack of other critical infrastructure work. Surely they be coming out with a report shortly blaming the Obama administration for lack of oversight in how stimulus funds were spent, right?
