Cooper's "apology" - he learns well from the Democrats how to do it

Drudge has a link to this article, which points to and sums up Anderson Cooper’s “apology” for his teabagging comments. It’s the same sort of “apology” you’d expect from Janet Napolitano and her ilk.

Here are some of his comments as extracted from the article along with their translation.

  • “I think it’s an incorrect statement to say I was, in any way, trying to disparage legitimate protests.”
IOW “I was indeed trying to disparage this protest because I think it’s illegitimate.”
  • “I don’t think it’s my job to disparage, or encourage, which oddly other networks seemed to be doing.”
IOW “I’m not biased, but the evil Fox News Channel is.”
  • “If people took offense to that and felt that I was disparaging their legitimate right to protest, and what they were doing, then that is something I truly regret.”
IOW “I’m sorry if you’re stupid, but what I said wasn’t offensive.”

Gee thanks AC.
