Indefensible: Bob Dole personally donates to Charlie Crist's Senate campaign

Sigh.  Long-time Kansas conservatives won’t be terribly surprised by this.  Only in the last few years has “Republican” actually meant something in Kansas.

Still, it’s disappointing to see this from former Senate Majority Leader Bob Dole, who actually had a decent voting record and who, in Kansas, has generally been supportive of conservative Republicans after the primary.

From The Washington Examiner’s Timothy Carney:

Charlie Crist left the Republican Party in April. In August, however, former Senate Majority Leader Bob Dole – now a health-care lobbyist – cut Crist a $1,000 check to finance his Senate race against Republican nominee Marco Rubio.

Red County’s Rich Swier has more.
