Bevin had the fortitude to challenge McConnell in 2014 for his Kentucky Senate seat and then won the Governor’s Office handily. He has excellent conservative bona fides, and his personal wealth would make him an intriguing person to make a 3rd party run for President this year.
Proving that he’s still not very good at picking winners, Rand Paul may be in the market for a new house after joking that he was betting the mortgage on 6th place Derby finisher Destin today:
