Anyone else feeling a bit depressed over the MSM bias?

Sigh … I’d felt that the media bias was bad in 2004, but this really takes the cake. No mention in the MSM that Mr Harry Reid has changed his opinion 4 times in three days over McCain’s value to the bailout process. No mention that Democrats could pass the bill whenever they felt like it – that they were really trying to strong-arm the House GOP into voting without giving any concessions as a result. No mention that while McCain was wrangling with the House GOP to come to agreement Sen Obama was in the gym. It just feels absurdly over the top, but if polls are anything to judge by only a fraction of the electorate even thinks to go around the media monopoly. Perhaps I’m just ranting, but how can so many educated people be so bloody stupid!

And their treatment of Gov. Palin … beneath contempt.

Interview recorded in real time:

MSM – “I have here a ‘Modest Proposal’ from Jonathan Swift. Can you tell us if you would support this bill to help alleviate the pressures of food costs on the urban poor?”

Gov Palin – “Of course not. It’s barbaric and clearly intended as satire.”

MSM – “And do you believe satire, even such clearly offensive satire as this, deserves First Amendment protection?”

Gov Palin – “Yes, of course. Little to nothing should be off-limits. The First Amendment guarantees freedom of speech, not freedom not to be offended.”

Interview as aired:

MSM – “I have here a ‘Modest Proposal’ from Jonathan Swift. Can you tell us if you would support this bill to help alleviate the pressures of food costs on the urban poor?”

Gov Palin – “Yes, of course. Little to nothing should be off-limits.”

MSM – For a full video/transcript, please invent a time machine and break into the interview. Up next – is Gov Palin’s tanning bed really envy over Obama’s “blackness”? A stunning journalistic expose by the Kos Kidz.
