TUNE-IN ALERT

A FOX News Channel military special airing Saturday, October 29th sounds like it will be extremely poignant and worth watching.

Although receiving little media coverage, American special forces are currently engaged in assisting Iraqi forces to ‘liberate” Mosul from ISIS. Iraq’s second-largest city has been under ISIS control since June 10, 2014.

If you remember in 2003, the U.S. military fought hard to successfully “liberate” Mosul from Saddam Hussein’s 5th Army Corp. Why the U.S. is now “assisting” in re-taking the city again is an obvious foreign policy failure. Apparently, taking Mosul once was not enough.

A FOX News Channel press release provides more detail about the special show and featured guests.

FOX News Channel (FNC) will present a one-hour special entitled “America’s Election HQ – How We Fight,” anchored by chief political anchor Bret Baier on Saturday, October 29th at 8PM/ET. The program will take an extensive look at the United States military and the threats that have emerged over the past eight years, as well as the military’s rules of engagement. In addition, the special will feature exclusive interviews with Defense Secretary Ash Carter, Navy Secretary Ray Mabus, former Defense Secretaries Robert Gates and Leon Panetta, leader of the Iraq surge General David Petraeus, retired Army readiness General Carter Ham, legendary Marine General John Kelly, former CIA Director Jim Woolsey, and Ambassador Dennis Ross, who served as Senior Middle East Advisor to Presidents George H.W. Bush, Clinton and Obama.

Sounds like it is worth watching or recording.
