TMZ Catches "Florida Man" Breaking in to House, Tom Brady Jokes He Was Just "Making Myself at Home"

(12)

Everyone’s favorite “Florida Man” is at it again… and this time, he sheepishly admits it.

You may have seen the TMZ story over the weekend, on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ new QB, Tom Brady, getting 86’ed from a local park while trying to work out. And while he didn’t get hauled in or handed a ticket for that Wuhan-coronavirus-lockdown-faux pas, it seems that isn’t the end of things.

The newest wrinkle in the New England Patriots, six-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback’s Florida saga involves… breaking and entering?

Well, sorta.

As TMZ found out, through a team source, on April 7, Brady was heading into what he thought was offensive coordinator Byron Leftwich’s home to “pick up materials” — but it wasn’t.

It was David Kramer’s, Leftwich’s next-door neighbor, who said he took the “break-in” in stride, telling the outlet, “I literally was just sitting there, and this tall guy just walk [sic] into my house. He didn’t even look at me. He just like dropped his duffel bags down on the floor and just kind of looked up at me and I’ll never forget the look on his face.”

Kramer continued, “He just goes, ‘Am I in the wrong house?!'”

As a GenXer, I’m required to mention here there must be a “Seinfeld” joke in there somewhere.

Anyway, Drs. Birx and Fauci will be relieved to hear Brady observed the social distancing protocol suggested by the Centers for Disease Control, according to TMZ.

Maybe the best part of all this was the MVP’s reaction, which he shared on social media today.

He even showed what a good sport he is by poking fun at himself, by referring to a new, Twitters hashtag: #Tompa Bay.

In sympathy, the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback chimed in:

Consider one, last morsel: the next Super Bowl is set to be played at the Bucs’ home stadium… which makes Brady’s arrival to Florida — and the team — that much more intriguing.
