You might not expect a 45-year-old to be out galavanting with the young folks, pouring accelerant on buildings and trying to light ’em up.

But this is 2020, so expect the unexpected.

As we’ve seen in countless videos online, there’s a brigade of black-suited ninjas in the streets trying to destroy what isn’t theirs.

They’re sometimes chanting, “Black lives matter,” but if I had to guess, I’d say that’s just a handle within reach. It seems to me many mob members are just excited to be on a team and tearing things up rather than motivated by a deeper dogma.

BLM is the flavor of the month, as was Occupy Wall Street before it. It will eventually be replaced — and plan on the same (covered) faces showing up.

Or perhaps I’m wholly wrong.

Either way, the result is this:

And either way, from last month’s chaos in Kenosha come two arrests.

As reported by The Daily Caller, a pair have been charged with attempting to burn down two Wisconsin commercial buildings during an August 25th riot.

Via a Wednesday press release, the Justice Department said 45-year-old Willie Johnson joined Anessa Fiero, 27, in breaking the windows of two structures, pouring liquid from a gasoline container, and trying to light the joints up.

Call it a hot night on the town.

Oh, and inside one of the buildings: occupied apartments.

According to the complaint, the couple succeeded in one of their arson-oriented efforts. Fire 1 was good to go; but the po-po showed right as Fire 2 was in mid-attempt.

Willie and Anessa were caught on surveillance video and therefore identified.

U.S. Attorney Scott C. Blader — per the DOJ release — had a comment on peacefully protesting:

“Arson is not protest, it is a crime that places the entire community at extreme risk. Those who attempt to terrorize the community through such violent crimes will be vigorously prosecuted by the United States Department of Justice.”

The Peaceful Pyromaniacal Pair face up to 20 years in prison.

If convicted, they’re looking at a minimum of five a piece.

Or, if you believe MSNBC, peace.
