It seems to me it’s a good idea for former presidents not to comment negatively on current ones.

You know Obama? He doesn’t feel the same.

Hence, during Thursday’s funeral service for Democratic Georgia Rep. John Lewis, Barack took some podium time to trounce Trump.

For one thing, he shot at the Commander-in-Chief for sending federal agents to Portland.

According to the erstwhile prez, those goons used “tear gas and batons against peaceful demonstrators.”

Are “peaceful demonstrators” the reason officers were employed? I’ve been seeing videos of all hell breaking loose.

Perhaps “peace” is being redefined — like “dignity,” which apparently now means “agreement.”

Regardless, Obama also went after the Leader of the Free World where November voting’s concerned.

If you weren’t aware, The Donald took to the webwaves earlier with the following:

“With Universal Mail-In Voting (not Absentee Voting, which is good), 2020 will be the most INACCURATE & FRAUDULENT Election in history. It will be a great embarrassment to the USA. Delay the Election until people can properly, securely and safely vote???”

If I were trying to think of Trump’s best tweets, that one wouldn’t come to mind.

But it might’ve popped into the head of POTUS 44.

Obama went postal on the President, diving into the sea of debate between Democrats and Republicans over whether mail-in voting in November will bring fantastic fairness or the feces of a farm animal — is vote-by-mail bull$#*!?

Barack says No, and Donald’s dastardly:

“Even as we sit here, there are those in power who are doing their darnedest to discourage people from voting by closing polling locations and targeting minorities and students with restrictive I.D. laws, and attacking our voting rights with surgical precision, even undermining the postal service in the run-up to an election that’s gonna be dependent on mail-in ballots so people don’t get sick.”

Of course, the election’s set to happen right on schedule.

As noted by the Daily Caller, on Thursday, Republican Senate Majority leader Mitch McConnell made that clear:

“Never in the history of this country, through wars, depressions and the Civil War, have we ever not had a federally scheduled election on time. We will find a way to do that again this November 3rd. We will cope with whatever the situation is and have the election on November 3rd as already scheduled.”

Barack isn’t the only Democrat accusing the GOP of nefarious intent on the voting front. As per the narrative, Republicans want to steal the election by preventing mail-in ballots.

Perhaps they’re right — let’s get on board.

After all, Cody Tims deserves to vote. The guy’s had a life probably 9 times harder than us.

This month, thanks to monumental accuracy, Cody received his voter registration form via USPS.

The guy loves his family, and love trumps all:

Back to Barack, in my opinion, leaving politics out of a eulogy would’ve been the Cool Cat thing to do.
