As Celebrities Bow to Greta Thunberg, Jeremy Clarkson Has Some Reality to Drop

The host of Amazon’s “The Grand Tour,” Jeremy Clarkson, has never been one to pull punches when our society has gotten a bit ridiculous. In fact, that’s exactly what his fans love him for.

And the more ridiculous you are, the more you’ll earn Clarkson’s ire. Case in point, his disdain for Greta Thunberg and her showy activism isn’t something Clarkson wishes to hide.

According to Metro, Clarkson was promoting The Grand Tour’s new show “Seamen” during an interview with the Australian morning show “Sunrise” when he dropped his incredibly not politically correct take on Thunberg:

The former Top Gear host said: ‘She’s mad and she’s dangerous and she’s causing young children sleepless nights with her idiocy. ‘No, I think she needs to go back to school and shut up.’

Jeremy said that he saw the effects of climate change while filming in Cambodia, as water levels were drastically decreasing – and urged kids not to strike, but to go to school.

He quipped: ‘Go to school, learn science and do something about it.’

This isn’t the first time Clarkson lashed out at Thunberg, as he had previously responded to the teen activist in a column where he called our Thunberg’s hypocrisy after her infamous “how dare you” speech aimed at older generations, which has become something of a meme on the internet.

“How dare we? No. How dare you sail to America on a carbon fibre yacht that you didn’t build which cost £15million, that you didn’t earn, and which has a back-up diesel engine that you didn’t mention,” wrote Clarkson.

He continued:

And then pause for a moment to consider how soundly you sleep at night, knowing that adults are building and servicing and flying Sweden’s fighter planes. To keep you safe.

We gave you mobile phones and laptops and the internet. We created the social media you use every day and we run the banks that pay for it all.

So how dare you stand there and lecture us, you spoilt brat.

If Thunberg is at all bothered by Clarkson’s words, she hasn’t shown it, though as we’ve seen from activists, the more monologuing the better, and the less dialoguing the best.
