Interesting Parallel with 2008!

In 2008, Huckabee won Iowa and decided to participate in NH when he could have gone on to SC directly and campaign for a win. Instead, he did poorly in NH, and lost valuable time to counter Fred’s onslaught in SC and came out second to McCain in SC. The rest is history!

So in 2012, it is interesting to know what Newt, Santorum, and Perry would do in the next two weeks. Romney needs to be careful as not to be too focussed on stopping Newt and let Santorum sneak in a winner at SC! My hope is that Newt has somehow stopped his decline and mount a furious fightback! In the primary, i am a ABR&P as in anybody but Romney and Paul!

This is why McLame endorsed Romney

The guy who lost to Obama endorsed the guy who lost to him.
The circle of losers is complete.

The point cannot be made often enough: Modern liberalism, as embodied in the Obama presidency, is the defender of the status quo. And the status quo is a road to economic ruin. Political forces cannot redistribute the wealth that the economic system does not produce.

Romney's respond to Santorum

will tell you a lot about his strategy! I suspect Romney will leave Santorum alone in the belief that santorum will continue to split the conservative votes but will not have the organization nor money to have a national campaign….and he may just be right! Time will tell! The longer Santorum hangs around, the less chance Newt has! Newt congratulated Santorum in Iowa for his victory…..he needs to be careful….Santorum might just help Romney gets the nomination!

In 2008, many fiscal conservatives were hell bent on stopping social conservative Huckabee...

And in the end, Rino McCain sneaked through! I think, in 2012, conservatives will be busy destroying each other and Romney, another Rino might just sneak through just like 2008! Talk about history repeating itself!

In 2008, Romney, Fred, and Huckabee

Split the anti-McCain vote! Many considered Romney a conservative back then. In fact Dr. Dobson couldn’t make up his mind until the weekend before Super Tuesday to endorse Huckabee when it became obvious that Huckabee was running a close second to McCain. It is interesting how 4 years later, Romney is now the moderate when his positions are still the same 4 years ago!
