Just because libs can't tell the difference between apples and oranges doesn't mean we shouldn't either.

Maybe if we tell it like it is they will see our point. Not that they would ever understand it... but thats never gonna change anyway.

Thanks for pointing out that little piece of propaganda. However, when dealing with libs, it's often pointless to argue with their holy writ. So, I just start where they leave off...

And regardless of how you look at it, taxing petroleum use or selling us our air, it's still a sham and a scam.

The American people are being mislead over our use of energy. We are not using 25% of the earths energy. That implies America has a monopoly on available energy, which isn't the case at all. We are using 25% of "produced" energy based on supply and demand. Our demand is simply higher, so we use more. That is a symbol of progress. Take a look at North Korea at night and you'll see what I mean.

As for BHO's wet dream over Cap and Trade... it's a farce. The real reason he supports Cap and Trade has nothing to do with global warming. It's about turning government into a revenue "Maker".... instead of a revenue reaper. Today, government relies solely upon OPM (Other Peoples Money) to operate, through taxes. But under Cap and Trade, they aren't merely taxing carbon (they want us to believe that).... the real truth is they are "selling" carbon. Thats a huge difference. The more carbon you use, the more you pay. In this manner, government is generating it's own revenue... by creating a product (carbon) and controlling the price under a monopoly. And the kicker is, carbon is naturally occurring. They have finally found a way to sell the air we breathe.... and were being duped into believing otherwise.

It's sickening.
