To say he and his staff along with the cheerleading media has been less than truthful to the American people is an understatement.

If his father was a Muslim, then to many Muslims he was born into their faith, whether he acknowledges that or not. I don’t think most Americans really care about that, it’s not like he had a choice in his parentage. But the fact is, he “converted” at some point and joined a Christian church. Now, last I heard, conversion is a capital offense in Islam. I just don’t think that promoting his “former” Muslim status is going to endear him with a whole lot of people in the Middle East. (Well, except maybe the Israelis. But he is skipping Israel, our closest ally in the region, for some reason).

That the slow and deliberate steps which president Obama is taking toward the open display of his ‘Muslim” faith (or upbringing), will finally lead to full disclosure of his birth certificate, educational records, and a main stream media investigation into his background? I mean really, what does it take for a President to continually weaken my country’s position in the eyes of the world, before there is an outcry of it’s citizens! Are we that complacent? I don’t know that he refrains from eating pork, a huge no-no to the faithful. Has anyone heard of his fondness for BLTs? Now, we do see he running off to the burger joints every now and then, shutting down DC traffic so he can have it his way. We know he loves that other kind of pork–government spending. He can’t get enough of that. But as to whether or not he’ll touch the other white meat remains a mystery.

He attends ‘Christian’ churches, notably the Trinity Baptist Church in Chicago. Maybe there aren’t any mosques in the Windy City? And he looked so fetching in his turban getup.

With Mr. Obama’s unbelievably ballyhooed address in Cairo Thursday to what he calls “the Muslim world” (hereafter known as “the Speech”), there is mounting evidence that the president not only identifies with Muslims, but actually may still be one himself. Consider the following indicators:

• Mr. Obama referred four times in his speech to “the Holy Koran.” Non-Muslims — even pandering ones — generally don’t use that Islamic formulation.

• Mr. Obama established his firsthand knowledge of Islam (albeit without mentioning his reported upbringing in the faith) with the statement, “I have known Islam on three continents before coming to the region where it was first revealed.” Again, “revealed” is a depiction Muslims use to reflect their conviction that the Koran is the word of God, as dictated to Muhammad.

• Then the president made a statement no believing Christian — certainly not one versed, as he professes to be, in the ways of Islam — would ever make. In the context of what he euphemistically called the “situation between Israelis, Palestinians and Arabs,” Mr. Obama said he looked forward to the day “. . . when Jerusalem is a secure and lasting home for Jews and Christians and Muslims, and a place for all of the children of Abraham to mingle peacefully together as in the story of Isra, when Moses, Jesus and Muhammad (peace be upon them) joined in prayer.”

Now, the term “peace be upon them” is invoked by Muslims as a way of blessing deceased holy men. According to Islam, that is what all three were – dead prophets. Of course, for Christians, Jesus is the living and immortal Son of God.

As a bitter clinger, I take strong exception with the coward-in-chief’s dismissal of Christ. No way can he call himself a Christian, and call another book Holy. And, Jesus, or Yahshua, which Bamster would NEVER call Him, is not just another prophet, as he implied.

He continues to get by with it, however, thanks to the dumbed-down education system and the state-run media. What I am concerned about is the under-reported damage he can cause, before we have the chance to reign him in, in 2010. These upcoming elections are critical.
