And they say that everything you think is true about unions, is probably true. They hate theirs, and the way they force contributions so they can fund Democrats.

“Why did union membership fall despite that Change to Win tried their best to enroll more American workers in unions. What else could it be than that American workers don’t want to join unions?”

The union argument is that it failed because employers intimidate workers, and because the law places too many obstacles in the way of union organizers (for example,during the campaign the company can hold meetings on company time, but the union can’t hold meetings at the workplace). In other words, workers do want to join unions, but the law effectively rigs the game against them, and companies are able to get away with both legal and illegal forms of intimidation.

The case against EFCA is so strong it’s an easy sell with the public, but only if we combat the arguments actually made by the unions, rather than argue that their aren’t any.
