Their <a href="http://www.seiu.org/blog.php" rel="nofollow">blog page</a> gives an adequate representation of their intentions and support of Card Check and retaliation upon any candidate they elected who does not follow the SEIU's philosophy. One of my current businesses is under attack by the SEIU to unionize the class of worker I employ (non-medical home care workers). I have 167 of these employees and if card check or the SEIU is successful at least 40% will HAVE to be laid off if benefits become mandatory. I offered benefits to one office of the employee pool (80 people) and only 3 took them. Of that group the lowest paid is at $10.75/hr the highest at $16.45/hr. These are better then competitive wages in this market. the inclusion of any “person” working in the service industry.
