Reagan, God rest him, was under fire from the same people from day 1, and still managed to get the truth out to the people without "attacking" or appearing "un" Presidential. And while you are at it, WE, that's you and me, have to take some heat for not raising more HECK about it these last 8 years. Wait, I have been raising the dickens the last 8+ years....since the day I found out one of "read my lips" boys was going to get the nomination. But thier was a ton of Republicans from Majority Speakers of both houses, to when they were Minority Speakers, to RNC Chairmans, Senators, Governors, etc. who could have and should have done the work of pointing out the miss-deeds of the opposition party. Where were they when it came time to stand up for stating the obvious shennanigans of the Democrats. If you want to trash Mr. Bush, fine. But call out every one of those others who kept quit for the last seven years, and pretty much let the Dems get away with anything. by not attacking those that attacked him, and attacking people SHOULD be “beneath” the office of the President.

We had a state senator now here who finally got caught with his less than ethical pants down and his Democratic colleagues tried to pretend ignorance of his behavior, but they had know and tolerated it for years and probably occasionally enriched themselves from it around the edges. Now they want us to believe them innocent. The same is true of all the Democratic Senators in D.C. They know, have known and are involved.
