Great idea. We need to get names and contact info and support Emineth’s plan to 168.

I have just about given up on the Republican Party as presently constituted. I will get more involved when a new crop of candidates comes up.

These same old sad, sorry, inside the beltway Republicans are of no value to themselves, nor man, nor animal.

You don’t think old Curley’s letter to Steele telling him its not his time is not indicative of the exact type of petty old thinking that the Washington Times article alludes to?

for all the candidates and not just a in for the next guy in line or the same guy are conspiracy theorists WE are concerned about the future direction of our party and WE do not like the inside baseball crap that is being played out. That is part of the problem not part of the solution. We have seen the example of scratch my back etc from within the party apparatus with Erick and Curley sending a letter to Steele telling him to back out as its not his time. the outdated thinking of who is next is line MUST GO! none of that can hardly be called conspiracies they are the facts.

If the RNC wants to be up front and wants to win and most importantly wants MONEY they will do the right thing and give everyone who is running a fair shot without the 80 having their earlier meeting. It is unnecessary as the 168 voting at the end of January should be more than enough for the decision.

What counts in selecting a chairman is what the Gang of 168 thinks. It’s their party apparatus to do with what they see fit.

After what has happened to the party electorally of late, I’d like for all 168 to tender their resignations right now. The grassroots can choose new committeefolks at the next primary elections, and these elections should be publicized and the candidates known. Hopefully, the importance assigned publicly to the election of the committee will prevent Pennsylvanians from picking someone as dreadful as Bob Asher. (Then-Governor Tom Ridge tabbed this fellow, who makes great chocolates but is not a conservative Republican.)

I cannot condemen Gary Emineth for his honesty, and I don’t know that he is not one of the good guys on the RNC.
