		<description>I used to think that what we needed to do was to outlaw gravity.  My thinking was that this would solve many of the so called &quot;engineering&quot; problems associated with getting oil and gas out of the ground.  

But I&#039;ve come to realize that there&#039;s a downside.  Increased usage of fossil fuels.  Can&#039;t have that.  

The obvious solution is a cap-and-trade tax.  For example, a business that needs to grow its gravitational consumption can buy off another business with idle gravitational capacity.  Or pay a tax, the proceeds of which could be earmarked to subsidize windmills and clotheslines and get us out of this mess that only promises to end life as we and our unborn children know it by further wanton curvature of space.  Or we could just blow it.</description>
