Blaming Bush in the Mirror

I’m getting a little confused, and if I were a Democrat insider, a little concerned, about this continuing theme of “Blame Bush.”

Since the Scott Brown-Massachusetts ooops last week, Administration spokesmen and OB1 Hisself have tried to shift the blame to Bush over half a dozen times.

But if this is a tactic, just who are they talking to? Who are they trying to convince?

Well, let’s see. There are the moderate-independents. No, not them. They’ve already heard that tune for the past year, and in Massachusetts were clear in saying they aren’t buying it. If Obama wants them back, he has to separate himself from that tune as far as he can.

So then, there’s the “liberal” base. Only why? They blamed last night’s bout of diarrhea on Bush. They’ve blamed the Middle Ages on Bush. Why, after the Obamailis just took a butt thumping in Massachusetts would they feel compelled to go out and try to brace up the true-believers?…unless of course they feel they are on the cusp of losing them. I doubt it.

The only other reason for continuing with the Bush barrage is that, short of booze or a snort of coke, it is the only source of stiff-upper-lip courage they can find.

If indeed this is nothing more than a look in the mirror, with the teleprompter as the middle man, just to convince himself he’s right, then we are indeed in for trouble. If our enemies, and even some of our friends, realize we under the dominion of self-delusional children and little more, I can hear them chopping the kindling already. The fire won’t be far behind.

Yep. If you have nothing to offer, blame your predecessor.

And you’re absolutely right that Obama is making himself – and therefore the country – look weak and childish in the eyes of our enemies, not to mention our allies and all the other countries, too.

The entirety of Obama's plan is to prove he's not GWB

…or even know how!

Two ingredients

1. Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, the GIMP, or some other full-featured image editing program. I use the GIMP. It’s free and open source.

2. Practice, practice, practice.

Yes, especially since he's looking more and more like Bush

in certain respects (rampant spending, unrestrained intervention in the economy in time of crisis, the use of government to alleviate any suffering, etc.)

I’ve seen a number of columns saying that Obama is Bush Term III. I’m sure some at RedState have said similar things.

Perhaps they are on on the verge of crying, Vassar,

I’m picturing them with a trembling lip. Yes, they have left us and our friends vulnerable to our enemies. I do think it won’t be long before his base will begin to blame him, as there is no “honor among thieves” or Leftists. His base continues to believe he has let them down, and while they are fretting about what he hasn’t done for them, they miss the real danger.

Ultimately, I’d like to believe that the moderate-independents have awakened and will stand with our side to protect our nation.

Scary isn't it?

I look forward to his base turning on him, but at the same time am afraid. When the wheels come off, not telling that truck will go…did I say truck? I meant limo.

He can't, vassar.

He should but he literally can’t, as in incapable of doing so. The group think/oligarchy view with him as the nominal leader means those who support him must do the same.

To abandon him would be an implosion of the “progressive” (it’s regressive and repressive to me so it will always be in quotation marks when I use it) movement, so they hold on, parroting the same lines that Obama uses until such time as he is replaced by the next leader of the oligarchy or they are replaced so they can fade back into the shadows to continue the work and advancing unseen what they’re doing now in the open; grooming the next nominal leader.
